I was looking for a quote I wanted to talk about and found this book cover instead. The Tenth Girl by Sara Faring debuted in 2019, and I have no idea what it’s about. But LOOK AT THE COVER. It practically screams I’ve got a story to tell. It’s gorgeous. I suppose the fact that I think it’s gorgeous is disturbing to some. But let me explain.
The cover art is creepy and ominous and pretty much says READ ME. I might have to rearrange my planned reading to start this ASAP. Don’t you love when that happens? We’re taught to not judge a book by it’s cover (and I know it’s not meant in the literal sense) but I judge cover art all the time. And this one is oozing Halloween and October and Made for this Time of Year. So I might pick up a bottle of wine and curl up with a copy this weekend.
Has anyone read The Tenth Girl by Sara Faring? Don’t spoil it, but if you loved it let me know. If you didn’t love it, let me know! I’d love to chat about it.
